Conversation with Laura Richards, Criminal Behavioral Analyst, Former New Scotland Yard and Host of Crime Analyst Podcast

Hello, Everyone. Back in April, I sat down with Laura Richards, award winning Criminal Behavioral Analyst, Former New Scotland Yard, host of Crime Analyst Podcast, co-host of Real Crime Profile and more. Laura is a passionate advocate for women and victims of violent crime who creates real change by amplifying voices, changing laws and educating the public so they can better protect themselves.

Yesterday, Episode 191: Missing: Josiah Hilderbrand with Liz Hilderbrand, Part 1 dropped on Laura’s award winning podcast. Listen wherever you listen including: Apple Podcasts; Amazon Music; Spotify and Laura’s Crime Analyst website.

After you listen to this first installment, please do us both a favor, leave a five-star review and comment wherever you listen. With your help, we will effect real change in how this story ends.

Recently while visiting my dad, Laura walked on screen of ABC’s Interrogation Tapes causing me to yell out from his leather sofa, “That’s Laura Richards! The one that interviewed me!” My dad is as supportive as he is able, but truth is, he doesn’t understand a lot of what I talk to him about: podcasts, advocacy, literary agents and book deals. All of this stuff is foreign to him, but he understands TV and he understands ABC. I could see the pleasant shock and realization come over his face. All of sudden, this path that I’m still on over five years later, made more sense to him which made me even more grateful for this opportunity.

Long before meeting, I was already following Laura’s advice (without even knowing it):
Be curious. Ask questions. Trust your instincts.

Thanks so much for continuing to follow along! Your support means so much…
All my best,
Liz
